Does anyone know if we are exempt from VAT if its being shipped to North America?

I e-mailed them about that and haven't received a reply Paul. I ordered the Pinocchio kit and had to pay 12.54 Euro's tax. That's $18.82 CDN! I then ordered a kit from FeR Miniatures in Euro's and didn't pay any tax.
