Megroot to paint embroidery I use beige brown 875 for base (all colors belong to the range Vallejo Model Color Acrylics), then I do three lights, 1st light brown mixture of 929 and 915 deep yellow, 2nd light yellow 949, and 3rd with yellow ice 858 in some areas.Then I do a mixture of gold 996 and 520 matte varnish so that only the gold pigment is note not shine too much, once done it with chocolate brown 872 shade step and parts mixed with black 950 .
F. Troop, the date would be between 1902 and 1909 when Lord Kitchener was commander of British troops in India.
