Hello Folks
A while ago I chucked Jim Evans a box of spare bits and asked him to sort them out. This is the result a 1/9th scale Ensign 27th Inniskillings Waterloo.
Cheers
Gordon

27thfootcolour1815.jpg

The Act of Union with Ireland in 1801 meant that the red cross of St Patrick was added to the union flag. The three turret castle was still in the middle but this time surrounded by the union wreath which now included shamrocks. The honours MAIDA and EGYPT were added although most regiments did not display their battle honours until 1820. The regimental number 27 was not shown in the corner at this time.

Im Just rivet counting.
In 1815 They were the 27th Regt of Foot. ( The Enniskillen Regt of foot) .
It was not until 1881 when they became the Inniskilling Fusiliers, when they linked up with the 108th Madras Infantry HEIC.
