Thanks to everybody, boys!!
@Megroot: next days I'll post some of my old and in progress figures
@pgarry27: Thank you! I hope you'll follow my progress!!
@Renèduret: wow, what a guitarist your friends!! He play a seven cords guitar! I like it so much!!! And I like Crossrods too. Thanks!!
@Edorta: Thanks very much! It's a dirty job (the guitar!)... but I like it!!

Great job so far! You've done a really good job on the hair in particular. I am in the process of a musician sculpt (the musician to be named later) and am not sure the best way to approach sculpting long hair "in motion". Did you sculpt in layers or get the basic volume of the hair, then scribe the hairs in once the shape was done?
My guitar was made by laminating polystyrene sheet and cutting and shaping once the desired thickness was achieved. So far just the general shape is done to give reference to the figure's pose.

I really look forward to more SBS pics of this project as it progresses

Colin

Thanks a lot Colin!! For making hair I work in 2 steps, first I put 5 o 6 strips of putty (magic sculpt+duro 70%/30%) in shape I want to make then I model single gruops of hair with cutter.
After about 15 minutes, when putty start to catalyse I put hai into definitive streaming shape.
Second step I add some little strips of putty to complete.

I prefer work with putty instead styrene for little object like guns or sword... but it's only my preference.
so a little but very hard!!! progress: the pickguard
next I have to polish it

You can use Invisible thread. I have used it and they have a smoke color that would work well. The thread is transparent. Here is a pic of what I am talking about.
