All-

Built this kit a few years back. Made the mistake of selling prior to moving to Korea. All I have is this photo. Why is it we make these stupid mistakes of selling our kits?

Yancy, Nice stuff. I'm really impressed with the way some of the garage kit sculptors translate an artist's 2D "style" into 3D.~Gary

Hey yancy,
This is getting a little spooky. I did this one too! Guess we both have the same good taste in models

It's a shame that you sold him. I'm not sure that I could part with any of mine. But since no one has ever shown the least little bit of interest in buying one, it's a problem I've not had to face, hehe.
Nice looking job on this one. I did mine a little too orange I think. From what I've heard, yours looks more correct than mine does.
Cheers,
Craig

Gary-

Thank you! Yes it is nice how some of this stuff translates, although I have had a bit of confusion on their scaling. You get one kit and it's supposedly 1/8, but stnd it next o a 1/12 and they are the same height.

They need some standards. Oh, well, most of the stuff is beautful.

Craig-

Yes, I miss this kit. I stress this, "Do not sell your kits!" You will regret it.

On antoher note, where would we put them all. Once I began building the big stuf (1/1 scale Gremlin and 1/4 Predator) I ran out of room quick.

On his color, I used a base orange from freakflex, then clear coated the kit and in the end wiped him down with a stain. Afterwards a bit of drybrushing a there you have it.

It was hard to sell the first figure but with that money I bought 5 more. As time went by I found I had developed customers who would buy off of me and began to count on some sales to buy the bigger figures I wanted to paint. I have painted almost 2,000 figures over 30 years and have on hand in cases now about 350 painted figures. Now I collect and paint and do very little selling of painted figures as the need is not there as before when kids were growing up and college had to be paid for. But once there was a need in order to stay in the hobby.
