The White Rose Figure World North 2024

The White Rose Guild of Miniature Painters are holding Figure World North once again this year.
The Show is being held in the same venue as the previous shows in the small Market town of Easingwold 14 miles north of York and 10 miles south of the A19 at Thirsk.

The Competition has changed to an Open Display structure with medals awarded for a individual pieces or whole display.

We do hope you can join us either for the first time or as show veterans.

I really wish I lived closer. I managed to fit in the first show with a holiday in the area but I doubt I would get away with it twice.

Yorkshire is huge Bill,it is impossible to see in only one visit. I would suggest an annual pilgrimage around the middle of the year

With just 5 weeks to go until the Show in June it would seem to be a good time time to mention a few things

The layout of the venue has changed from previous shows. The competition room is now downstairs in the area used for the Club stands, so they will be upstairs this year.

The Competition will be run on an Open Display basis with all entries judged on their merit.

Unfortunately there will not be a Class/Demonstration at this show

Well I am not packed and ready yet, but I do only have to travel 10 miles to get there,
I will be there tomorrow afternoon to set everything up for the Show, Comp Room, Traders and Club Room.

There will be a painting demo by Andy Statham WExpo Gold winner and a sculpting demo br Mark Heywood on and off through the day in the Comp room
