Hi Steve,
I am loving this piece, excellent.
I still have the one holding the little girl.
Will you have this at Darlington
Best wishes

Nice work Steve, good to see you back to what your best at.(y)
best wishes mate. Moz photos are fine here too

A really great scene and I like such compositions. But I don´t know if it depends on the great pics and the proportions but it seems that there are some mistakes at the uniform and the equipment. For example. He is wearing the ribbon for the EK II but that ribbon was worn in the hole of one button and I have never seen that the chinstrap of the "Pickelhaube" was worn over cover. The uniform of the little child is nice, but he is wearing an unusual jacket. All in all it is an unusual scene and a scene not often seen.

Dear Friend Ulrich Thank you for your Post as you can see if you look Sideways don't know why it came out that way?? you can see the Chinstrap being worn in the manner I sculpted it I have several photo's of Soldiers wearing it in that manner I also while serving worn my chinstrap like that too even though I was often reprimanded for doing so
The Childs Jacket as you cabn see was based on a war time Jacket the nearest I guess the family could get to the serving soldiers dad's uniform the Ribbon you stand correct on I made the mistake using a Fly i.e. Buttons not shown 1915 Tunic as they were I believe sown or pinned on I should have as you rightly pointed out used the Button Hole but I guess the Modeller can clean it off until I remake the master
Anything else you could point out is most welcome in my learning curve of the complexed German Army of 1914-18
As the Photo Show 'The Next One Who Say's anything' 'Gets It' :0P
