I added a little weight around the eyes
 
You say that this may be a bit weak for a commercial piece, dont know what everyone else thinks, but I for one would love to paint it. You put so much character into your faces, they aren't "pretty boys" but are a painters dream.

The expression is so cool and so full of ancient toughness, it's a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation in my opinion by using the facial armor or not. I guess you have to, but wow...just superb !. Bravo on this face and piece.
He looks like an old actor, I believe his real name was Rondo Hatton.
 
If you ever produce this commercially I'd buy it in an instant. In fact it's hard to type this post because my hand keeps trying to reach my credit card.

Seriously, great work. Lots of character and a subject matter I'm a big fan of.
 
The face is perfect, so to speak, I love the smirk he has. If I had this figure I would so build it without the mask, just to keep the face on display
