Hello folks! This is my last piece.

Is a paratrooper or Fallschirmjager during the campaign of Monte Cassino in 1944. Andrea Is a figure of Miniatures in 90mm. I've made a full field basing on photos of Cassino, and represents a slip of the inside of a house demolished by bombing. As for the decor it more complicated and tedious was the type splittermuster camufalje characteristic of the paratroopers who participated in that battle. Hope you like it. I've had a great time making this work, although it has been long and sometimes frustrating, but I think with a very striking result. This figure was part of the display that enrolled in Torrent Contest in Valencia, Spain, and was awarded a gold medal.

The base of figure before painting with different materials it is manufactured.

Stunning Robert, and a well deserved gold. The groundwork is as good as the figure, and that takes some doing.

Anything less than a gold for that would have been a travesty.

A stunning piece of work.

Robert,

I'm struggling to find the words to describe your work. I'm stunned. Specially like the helmet. How have you done the weathering on the helmet?

Sergio

Thanks very much, for your comments, folks!!!

Sergio, I observed during some time royal photos of an original helmet of the battle. To simulate both the granulated one of the painting, and the wears, I was applying them with a bit of sponge, meeting toquecitos on the different tones as it was suitable. With a revision of oxide in the lateral and back clinches and a bit of metal in the edges of the helmet, this one would remain finished with the finished very similar one to the seen one in the photos.

Sorry for my english, I hope you understand.

Cheers, Robert.
