David Spencer
A Fixture
Finally finished the ill-judged winter figure project.
Ill-judged because I paint figs in the conservatory, so conditions were not ideal, in light and temperature terms; this boy started in early Nov and ended yesterday (24 Feb). Every session was short and challenging.... !
That said, whilst he ain't my best effort, it was more fun than building an aircraft: the usual winter project.
This guy is not a knight. Sergeant at arms is more likely and I settled on representing one of the entourage of Étienne de Vignolles, Sieur de Montmorillon, Chatelain de Longueville during the Hundred Years War

It turns out that blue and black attire for sgts at arms was common in the reign of French king Charles V. A lucky coincidence.
Anyway, here he is - snapshots attached.
