Hi Guys ,
Well I have finally flipped and decided I will do a sc-fi bust of Spock .

Just base coated at the moment in acrylics so the question is what colour are Spocks eyes and has anyone got details on the badge he is wearing / all help is needed and greatly received

All thoughts from the universe are welcome!!!

Thanks for the info ..brown eyes it is then , the bust was a find on e bay from Hong Kong , purely a "toy" but it will paint up well I think .

Thanks for the smock piccy , looking for a good one as a reference ..gave me a right old laugh so much I nearly fell off the teleporter I am going with brown eyes and just googled a federation badge ...help me !!!!!

Kev , great painting so far however from the pic sent by Carl, shouldn't his top be more of a horizon blue "To boldly go where ????" someone else can finish the sentence, I've forgotten it.

I have found those old AMT Figure kits of the original crew were all over the place scale wise. But they all had nice heads. So I thought making them in to busts would be a nice way to go with them. You can find them cheep on ebay.

Thanks for comments , ref colour whats in the pic is just the 1st of several basecoats ..wanted to post first ....I have seen severasl "blue's" ..but horizon blue ...still got to get his badge confirmed !! going with brown eyes after several pictures .."its lifes bones but not as we know it" ...bet that quote is wrong !!!!

Hi guys ,
Heres an update on Mr Spock , cleaned it all off and based again , resculpted the badge ..thanks Carl for pic (limited talent there of course !!) , I have done the eyes but still lots to do on it ..nah really I hear you all say !!!

Hope to paint more this weekend ..SWMBO permitting ..do we really need food I ask myself!!!!!

Thanks for the comments ..hope to work a little more on this at the weekend ...will have to sort out the eyelids etc ...its amazing how much enjoyment I am getting from this , after all its is only just a "toy" as such .
