Hello !
I often think of Kipling when seeing the above at shows, having sworn to only buy one or two more kits, and their bulging bags and their plans to avoid being detected by She Who Must Be Obeyed... Grey armies.....
I was an inactive PF member some years ago but failed to produce character references for Nap.
I have been BMSS since late 1970s with a gap around 1990/91 when my membership expired whilst east of Suez.
Rejoined BMSS around 2012 ish and sustained severe shocks regarding prices of kits and standards !
I needed a darkened room after attending IPMS Telford.
I had articles published in MM in the 80s and early 90s , and BMSS Bulletin over the years.
Currently doing Scots Greys trumpeters, drummers, bandsmen from 1686.
Thus relearning busts and their painting and mounting thereof.
Am member of East Mids Modelling Club, annual show at Hinckley. Propellor heads mostly, and AFVs, bless them, but I try to keep figures involved.
Two Grieve busts arrived today, Nelson and 15th Hussar.
Cheers
