Can anyone identify the lettering on the cap band of a Naval rating 1914 in Antwerp?? Box art is indistinct and there are no references that I know of that show the cap band. The Osprey series has a fuzzy picture, but, that's it!!!

It's all I need to finish the figure!

David, the device is called a Ship's Tally: It should red "HMS Sip Name" I found lots of examples on Google. I used WWI Navy Seaman's Hat. Please see the example below.

I've just found a better pic by Mike Chappell in an Osprey as R.N.V.R with an anchor between the N and V. I assume it's Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.

I managed to get it on first time!!!

Got to paint the rifle sling when the glue has hardened so I hope to post tomorrow pm.
