Number of parts; 9 resin parts plus rifle sling
Sculptor: Nino Pizzichemi
Box art; Alex Varela
Price; £14.00 GBP plus postage (£12.60 for members of the Tommy's War Collectors Club)
Available from; www.tommyswar.com
As a long-standing admirer of the Gurkha regiments, I'm absolutely delighted to include a member of the Gurkha Rifles in to the Tommy's War range.
Shown at the battle of Gully Ravine in Gallipoli in 1915, this Rifleman is depicted in khaki drill uniform and 1903 bandolier pattern equipment. We used some artistic license to show him attacking with his famous kukri drawn.
As a Rifleman, badges and insignia is shown in black, the white material around his arms are identification symbols for that battle.
My thanks to Nino for another fantastic sculpt and to Alex for his wonderful box art.
This figure, and TW54032, are available for order on www.tommyswar.com
