Toning it down a little

Looking to knock back the greens a bit on this, was going to go for pale brown washes, any other ideas?

I think a veil/glaze of black or dark brown will work. If you don't want to make things too dark, maybe try a lighter red brown...this should neutralize the green without darkening it.

You'll never turn me to the oily side Del! Funnily enough, I was just mucking about with red shades for green last night.

I'm with Adrian - If you're trying to 'grey' a colour then add the complimentary (Colour on opposite side of colour wheel) so adding something from the red spectrum will kill the greeness (Is that even a word?) o_O
