Top WWII Resin figs...Opinions??

Hey Guys,

I'm really enjoying my visits here at the site and getting great advice/tips to help my figure painting. I'm now starting work on a 3 figure vignette using an Alliance base, 2 Evolution late war SS, and a Warriors late war trooper. I've been taking care to prepare the figs so that the painting will go over some crisp, clean figs. The Evolution figs are exceptional and the older Warriors fig is pretty darn good. Soooo, I ask the question to "those in the know"...what are some of the best 1/35 scale figs out there...in your opinion? Hornet heads are a given, but I'm really starting to appreciate these Evolution guys. Alpine, Stalingrad, the old Warriors line are my tops right now. Wadda ya think?

I'd say Alpine Miniatures and Evolution. Older Hornet is still up to par in my opinion.

I think that whatever option comes out on top! esp! @ 1/35th scale, a combination of Alpine
& Hornet, + Resicast (AFV), adaptions, would be hard to beat!

I like Alpine best in respect to faces, realistic folds and clean casting. It does not mean that the other brands mentioned are far behind. When it comes to ideas about poses and drama I like Evolution, Stalingrad, Jaguar and Warriors but don`t forget Yosci(taka Hirano) or Bravo 6 when it comes to Vietnam figures....
Hornet is in some ways a class of its own but I am not so crazy about static poses and the head sets usually include up to two exceptional sculpts and the rest is down to awkward IMHO which makes them not always good value for money. ( I am aware that this last statement might be a sacrileg but I just try to give my honest opinion)

I'd also look at 'Bodi & Corpus' (SK Minatures have them).
They have some Germans including winter head sets.
I haven't used them, but I'm going on the quality of the GI jeep riders which I used for my jeep vignette.
