Thank you Michael and your vital information on the Archbishop of Cologne will be very handy when I finally tackle that beautiful piece. I particularly liked how you gilded his entire helm.Thank you Przebor,I wouldn't worry too much because the figures produced by Tin Berlin, Altores, Tartar Miniatures, Mercury Models etc. are mostly all highly authentic and basically paint themselves. Even if you completely made up your own heraldry it would still be believable because not everything is documented, a lot was lost to time and armies weren't uniform.And contrary to their portrayal in films after 1970, medieval people were more than capable of producing vibrant, colourful fabrics, so you can go all out on your paints!
