Hi,
I' ve already painted the shirt of Andres Heintz' 90mm Trail Boss. It's painted in oils (white, lemon yellow and van dyck brown). My first vallejos arrived today, so I will paint the rest of the figure soon:D . I hope the shadows are looking realistic.

Dang, you are fast!

Nice work so far, I love the color choice! A lot of people think of cowboys as colorful creatures, altough some were, no doubt, but most of the time they wore very earthy colors due to the hard work they did every day which tended to fade anything bright being that they worked in sunshine, rain, snow wind etc etc.

Looking forward to the next steps!

Trail Boss Update

Hi,
I finally finished the trousers and the scarf. I painted them in oils first, but wasn't happy with it. Then I tried to make the lights with vallejos, but I had the wrong colours. Finally I made another thin layer of VanDyckBrown over it and it works!
