Hi friends,
I will spend some days next week in Glasgow visiting some relatives.
Can any scottish friend indicate me some modelling or figure shop in Glasgow or Edinburgh?
Thank you!!!
Fernando
Fernando, sadly there are no general or figure model shops in Glasgow anymore.
There is a small model shop specialising in Planes, tanks and cars but little to sustain interest for figure modellers.

Edinburgh fares a bit better with ....

Check their websites and you'll get a sense of what each offers.
Judging by your avatar you might be interested in a visit to the Royal Highland Fusiliers museum. It's in Sauchiehall Street, pretty much in the town centre.

Hope you enjoy your visit.

Thank you Derek! Really appreciate your post. I've been many times in Glasgow and I didn't know about that museum!! For sure I will visit!
I'm planning a day trip to Edinburgh, I want to assist to the exhibition about the Celts in the national museum, but I'm not sure I will go to that shop. Seems a Little bit generic, nothing that I cannot find here at home...Seems that the internet almost killed all modelling shops everywhere
Cheers,
Fernando
You're very welcome. I think you are right about not visiting the shops.
My daughter was lucky to get a 'hands on' visit to the Celts exhibition to assist with a paper she's writing for Glasgow University.
She found it fascinating and informative. I'm sure you'll like it.
