Quick note for anyone who hasn't tried these waxes.
They are without doubt excellent!

The coverage is superior to anything I have ever used and they polish up perfectly with no
chalkiness.
This is the best price I have found on them and the delivery was within two days.

The tube size will last me years so the investment is well worth it.
Good luck and keep painting.

I have the product at home but havent tried it yet. Im curious how it takes clear coat, decals, weathering etc. And if it mixes with standard oils and to what effect.

Cheers

Afternoon folks
No video set up on this end but the product goes onto any surface like a dream.
Very clean application with no lumps etc.
Product breaks down with white spirits so you can pick your own viscosity and also
it mixes well with oils...the drying time is quick but I have had no problems. Add a bit of
walnut oil to any oil colour and it comes back life.
I have found as with most metallic products that an undercoat of acrylic will add depth to the final colour.
As for decals etc, I would assume that if you had a clear flat coat on the section the wax would work fine.
I have been painting for 40 years and have never found a better metallic product.
Sounds like I work for them;)
Cheers from sunny Cumbria

Hi all

There's also some information about how to use in the painting techniques area.

I'm interested in chrome among other things to feed an addiction. Yep got a lot of chrome on my choppers!!!!

Cheers

Interesting. However, since they are wax based, Can they be overcoated with acrylic paints ?

According to another forum , it seems that if you touch the painted part even a fews days after application, some of the pigment will rub out and stay on your finger. if that's the case, nope, i won't overcoat them with acrylics. they need a clearcoat of some sort if that,s the case.
