I still felt in need of some plastic kit therapy, so decided to get hold of the next in the Trumpeter 1/16 figure series. Another chunky chap, and not as animated as the first two. As before, I had to take about 4mm off the top of the arms and re-position the boots to get a better stance. The kit also includes a head wearing a cap, which I did try to adjust, but as it still didn't look right in the end I used the one shown here.

I also gave him some different hands from those supplied. The map case shown is printed on the box and has to be cut out and glued together, which is not very satisfactory. I therefore gave him a map case from the spares box and some binoculars.

I've also ordered the final figure in the series as I felt guilty about leaving him out.

Hi Peter

Another good result , good choice not using the map , like the bareheaded version

Look forward to seeing more Tamiya Therapy from you

Happy benchtime

Morning Peter

Another super figure and a 4th to come, very nice.

Hopefully no more reactions to the jab, and the new workstation is sorted out to your needs.

Its still too hot!

Its been a busy week deodorising the garage after the finding the squatter!

Hopefully he has got the message and moved on?

Otherwise I'll have to get our youngest cat, Daisy to find him for a play date!

Have fun with the fourth figure

Regards

Steve H

Morning Steve

Glad you like this one - the fourth has arrived and has been prepped. If the deodorising and Daisy doesn't do the job I'll lend you Joe - he's a prime ratter (and partial to pheasants, rabbits, squirrels and mice). His dodgy knee should be less of a problem in a confined space like a garage. A very hot day today with heavy storms forecast overnight, then hopefully cooler,

Working on a Verlinden ACW figure at the moment.
