Trumpeter 2nd Hussars (40mm)

The piece is 40mm and is produced by PERRY. This scale, in my opinion, is an excellent compromise between the classic 54mm and smaller scales. Given the size a little bit more generous this time (the first ever!) I decided to try painting the horse completely with oil ... I think it turned out pretty well ... at least I hope!
The soldier is a trumpeter of 2nd Hussars in 1811, during the campaign in the Iberian Peninsula. For the uniform I was inspired by two pictures respectively Boisselier and Rousselot.
