Here is my completed Trumpeter of the Imperial Guard Chasseurs, a Mitches' Military Models release from a couple of years ago. Fleshtones are painted with artists oils, and the remainder painted with acrylics from Vallejo, Reaper and Andrea. The metal portions of the trumpet were painted with Tamiya gold spray paint from a rattle can. Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Nap.

The trumpet banner emblems were “suggested “ on the cast piece, but this is largely freehand. The braid details are all freehand as well.

Welcome aboard Kurt, a very well painted bust and some beautifully detailed painting. Hope we see more of your work.

Meticulous detail, with the ultimate in patience required. How many hours spent on it ?? Worth a medal(if there was one).......

Thank you, Bob, Andrea and Spinner(?).

Not sure how many hours are in this one, Spinner. I try not to count. I knew that it was going to be a slow process going in, so I was never in a rush to finish. Thankfully, I had an ancient Almark book on the Chasseurs that provided loads of detailed information on the lace patterns. Sadly, none of my more modern references provided anywhere near that same level of detail.
