hi all,

good day. could you teach me how to expressing the highlights and shadowing of field grey on WWII German M35 tunic. namely, what i mean is what color i using can be reached exactly and perfect.

thanks and regards
Steven

Hello Steven,

I doubt that there is a perfect colour match,.. as dyes can fade or slightly differ and weather! .. greenm35tunic550wm.jpg. LuftwaffeM35500.jpg .. You could look to a paint set that would cover all bases! such as this! . VAL70107-MC-WW2-German-Paint-Set-600x630.jpg.. and mix and match to your preferred hue!

Regards,

Mark

May I ask you where you bought those reproduction Alpine figures from?

Didn't know that before?
My question still remains to be answered.

You're new here, so I will go easy, but not only did you buy counterfeit/pirated "reproduction" Alpine figures; but you admitted it:wacky:(n)

Hi Steven, As T50 and captneglish have already said, please understand we are not recommend people to buy from re-casters.
I understand you bought them for your painting practice, but it's not good.
Everybody make mistakes, hope you understand it and learn from it.

Okay, lets break this down:

You wanted to order directly from Alpine in US.
You live in China, and Alpine has 2 dealers in Hong Kong... and many more in Asia.

Now,
you are telling me that the reason you ended up buying
counterfeits was because you were not able to order the legit
ones directly all the way from Alpine in US?

I thought you bought them because "the price was much cheaper than the original" (as you wrote above).

Hi Steven,

As you have now gathered, the use of, and promotion of, 'Counterfeit', figures is an absolute, 'NO'!... and no-one will condone buying this rubbish!... as that's what they will be ! .. cheap and nasty. Which only does damage to the integrity and name, of well known manufacturers, who have built up there individual reputation through hard work, and expense!

However, you are now aware of that fact! .. and have said sorry! (y) ... Great stuff!.. So now you can move on,. put it behind you. and get to painting :D:D;)!

PS, Don't do it again!:LOL::D

Mark
