Been working on this for the past few weeks, Ron Tunison's "Dismounted Reb". Its about 1/6 scale and about 14" tall. Using artist's oils over enamels.

Excellent painting so far. I'm familiar with Ron's sculpting but always assumed this was a one off piece.

Cheers Ken

Ron did do a one of a kind painted piece called "One Of Jeb's Boys" that "Dismounted Reb" was apparently modeled after. The pose is the same but there are some marked differences in the uniform coat. accoutrements and saddle equipment. For "Dismounted Reb" there was a lot more equipment added and the shell jacket was changed to be, what looks like, a Richmond Depot 2nd model with the shoulder straps. My research shows that a Richmond Depot jacket with with yellow, or any color, piping was rare but I couldn't resist.

Thanks for the feedback,

Len
