Twisted Kickstarter now LIVE! 32mm steampunk miniatures game

Hello everyone, this is Sebastian Archer – I am the co-creator of Twisted: A Steampunk Miniatures Game.

Our Twisted Kickstarter is now LIVE! The next month will be a very exciting one!

We have been overwhelmed with support and have already funded in just 45 minutes from launch! It was absolutely incredible to fund so quickly, we are blown away by the speed of the support so far and really thrilled and excited! It's going to let us add a LOT more cool stuff to Twisted, now



Twisted is an immersive new tabletop skirmish game for 2 or more players, with a world-class range of 32mm miniatures representing your characters.

Set in an uniquely interesting steampunk universe, Twisted’s absorbing gameplay and linked story-driven missions create a real emotional connection between you and your characters on the tabletop.

But beware the power of the Engine! The ever-present influence of the mysterious steampunk Engine pervades the world of Twisted, and plays an active role in gameplay!

This is a thumbnail of our 'mega mini pic' - it shows all the core miniatures from our Kickstarter, from the Dickensians and Servants of the Engine factions (although now there are a bunch of extra new ones that have already been added through Stretch Goals!!)

If you've seen the Twisted Kickstarter page recently, you'll know that we've already unlocked 7 Stretch Goals, including some great new miniatures. And if we can continue driving through the Stretch Goals, then there are plenty more where they came from!

Craig Clark, the genius from CNC Miniature Scenery, has designed some incredible MDF terrain pieces especially for Twisted! Craig is an absolute genius with laser-cut MDF!

Funded in 45 minutes. Congratulations. I'm looking forward to seeing some game play videos. I haven't pledged yet as I'm not 100% sure I can spare the funds. Could you elaborate on your plans for retail distribution?

Hello,

I have bought some of your resin figures and I must say they are absolutely fantastic : the design, sculpting and casting are perfect! Now, I don't play games (no friends to play with ) but love to paint them. So I would like to know if the figures will be sold seperately some time in the future and if it will be resin or white metal ones? Personaly I prefer resin as I find them much easier and quicker to clean up and they show detail better.

Gino: all the miniatures will be available individually in Collectors Edition resin at some point. Most of the miniatures from the Dickensians and Servants of the Engine are already available individually in resin through the Kicsktarter campaign - if you look down the bottom of the page you can see the list of resin Add-ons available. Anything that does not appear there will possibly be added to the campaign later, or will be available in the future.

Kevininpdx - we're in the process of forming a relationship with retailers, but yes we certainly plan for Twisted to be an ongoing range of miniatures into the future, that will be available at retail stores! We have lots of plans to add and expand Twisted into the future so it won't be a project that 'ends' after the Kickstarter - rather, the Kickstarter is designed to launch a long-lasting game and miniature range. Does that answer your question...?

Thanks for the response. Just wanted to know if I'll be able to buy from one of the large online retailer here in the states in the future. You have my support, either through kickstarter or through a retailer, that's for sure. This may be the best looking game on the market. Up there with Infinity.

Thanks for the quick answer! I have allready 5 of your resin figures and will be ordering the others soon. If I remember correctly, I believe I ordered them through the guild of harmony website.

There are only 48 hours left to go in the Twisted campaign - wow, this month has flown by so quickly! We want to say another huge 'thank you' to all of our backers, we literally could not be doing any of this without you and we are so excited to have your wonderful support in making Twisted an amazing universe, game and product.
