A very old bust from carl Reid but a very good one. Not my last one from his Harton range. I have paint no war paint over the face because I like the expression of him

The second was bought two month before on the show in Ransart. A new bust from Golem Art together with a very high base, but everyone here means that that is ok. I have fixed not the feathers on the head because I like the bust without them more

Nicely done Ulrich. I love native Americans, and these just look wonderful.

Thank you Phil

Very nice work Ulrich. Do please share your paint mix with us as you've really caught the native American coluring in my opinion.

Cheers

Huw

Huw. I will try it. I start with a normal flesh mixture made from Permanent Orange (Lukas 1862), Windsor yellow deep (Windsor & Newton) and Titanium white. Then I have used Burnt sienna and Burnt umber (Windsor & Newton) and Vandyke brown (Mussini). I have another Vandyke brown from Lukas Sorte 1 but that is a complete other colour and doesn´t work. See photo. Nr. 1 is Mussini and Nr. 2 Lukas Sorte 1. I have miex only white into the colour.

For some parts of the faces I have used a very little bit of Carmine (Lukas 1862)
