Can some one confirm "my list" of Tamiya paints for World War II uniform? I am painting an 1/35 scale Tamiya figure during the desert campaign (Tunisia, 1943).

#XF60 Dark Yellow - M1941 field jacket
#XF51 Khaki Drab - wool trousers & shirt
#XF49 Khaki - web belts, straps, cantten cover etc.
#XF57 Buff - leggings
#XF10 Brown - boots
#XF62 Olive Drab - helmet

Thanks in advance,

Over all that sounds about right. One thing is look at photos of the uniforms you are painting. You can find a lot of photos on line now. In my experience there is no true color for anything. Dye lots form diffrent makers will not be the same every time so do not get to hung up on things being exactly this or that color. Also you have factors such as wear and tear on a uniform. All of them get beat up especially in combat. What might have been pretty much olive green to start might be more like a light green after some time in combat, especially in a sunny place like North Africa. Books like this one can be a big help.
