Günther Rall said later once about himself and his time he had spent than fighter pilot during the II world war, the following words: "... Me for my 275 firings admire, know nothing about the war! They do not know what means for a whole human life that one had to kill during young years not to be killed even. They do not know the shame and the grief of the survivor. The war is not the continuation of the politics with other means, but a disgrace; it is the complete bankruptcy of political action...".
Died last year in the age of 91.
