In my never-ending quest for info on uniforms and equipment I came across these two sites:

This thread, “Germans with captured weapons”, is 83 pages long with tons of pictures showing German troops using SVT-40’s, PPSH-41’s, the Polish version of the BAR and plenty of other foreign weapons. I was actually searching for “weapons used by the Volksturm” and this came up.
