Hi all;
After spending a few hours googling images, I am still trying to find a good definative source for uniform information regarding the Chasseurs a pied Officers from the Franco Prussian War 1870-71.
I'm trying to find out specifically if these officers sported the elaborate rank piping on the sleeves during this period, and if they did or did not have piping running the length of their trousers as I've seen on some earlier versions (1850's and 1860's).
I seem to have a good handle on the enlisted men for this regiment (I can always look at the exquisite Elite 90mm figure I have as a reference), it's just the offers that I want to get more info on.
Anything you could pass along my way would be a great help.
