Hi to all
Here my last work recently completed (Yesterday)
This is my first horse, entirely painted by airbrush.
The wooden fence is home made, all painted in acrylics.

Great job on the Romeo figure.
But I don't like the matt color of the horse. It looks so plastic now. And a horse isn't flat but a bit shiny.

@Kevin D. The eyes...ehm... In fact it was a very hard work...

@Marc. You're right, I used Andrea colors for the horse and they're so matt finish.
I tried with a coat of satin varnish... But it's not enough, I think.
Next one I will do with oils

I can only echo the others......
it's a lovely little story, the two figures interacting work.

You've made a great effort at the horse, only to be let down by the materials going quite matte. However, the shading is superb!

Great paint job all round,love it.

If you paint a second horse and it is a grey then the Matt finish will be spot on as greys don't have shiny coats.

@Huw, with a lot, lot, lot of patience
I used Andrea color very diluted with Andrea thinner. Colors are Dark Brown Leather (Nac 49), Dark Brown (Nac 48), Burnt Sienna (Nac 52) I add black for the shadows.
Kept airbrush very very close to the horse.
In my opinion (And not only in my) it's very important to have a good reference photograph of an horse that we want to reproduce!
