Scale 1/35.

Hey Micky,

Nice figure (well sculpted), with interesting details.

1/35, really? Wish it was 1/32, or 54mm... How tall is the miniman anyway?

Thanks,

Patrick

One thing that jumps out is the placement of the leather loops the blanket roll straps pass through to secure the blanket roll. The knapsack appears to have two sets. One set is exposed while the rolled blanket sits on top of the other set. My guess is there is some confusion about what these things are. There should only be one set with them being placed on the top of the knapsack. The ones on the kit can be easily remove and the surface fine sanded smooth.

One thing to pay particular attention to is how low the equipment hangs on the body. The slings/ straps for the canteen, haversack, and cartridge box hang a little low, especially the haversack and canteen. It would also be more common for the waist belt to be worn over top the cartridge box sling, which would prevent it from moving around a lot while the soldier is in motion. Please take these comments as purely constructive criticism.

Krest063, captnenglish, Thank you.

maya8, Hello Patrick.
You`re right, it`s 1/35 (50mm)
I just try to bring some new themes in my favorite 1/35 scale. I think it`s a bit more interesting than one more "another german". How it would be popular... who knows? It depends on you, guys. I mean all modellers around the world.

garyjd, thank you for some information.
I marked this topic, then pass the link on to our sculptor.
