Howdy all! This Stormtroopers bust was a joy to paint and was done so using Andrea and Vallejo acrylics. On the sheep skin vest, I tried for the first time a painting style used by Mike the Kiwi and Juanma Vergara. It may seem to some a rather tedious method, but it actually was kind of fun, and I like the overall effect. It also seemed to me as appropriate for this type of garment.

Now to give additional credit where its due. I got the base from Thomas Art Bases and a name plate was made for me by Gilbert Moreno. The helmet decals were given to me by David Youngquist of lastcavalry.com. Yup, last cavalry came to the rescue! Thanks guys!

Geez Joe that didn't take long mate!

Looks like it came out well too.
Pleasing to hear the experiment with stippling was enjoyable as well as effective :)

What's next?

Mike

Hey Mike!

I reckon I'll be stippling a little more often!

As to what's next I don't know yet, I'll have to mull that over. I don't exactly have a grey army, more like a squad, so I'll have to get my enthusiasm up on one of those choices.

Thanks for your comments Mike!
