US Navy Sailor

Just finished a base for this 1940s era sailor. I had some scrap resin from an old test pour that harndened in the bottom of a cup. Turned over, it makes a good harbor. The bust is about 1/8 scale and comes from Mitches Military Models. Painted in Scalecolor Acrylics.

I like that a lot. The blues and the gob cap are very nicely done. And well cleverly based.

Good to see this , I’m surprised we’ve not seen more of these painted up , it’s a nice piece , challenging with the blue but as always you have cracked the colour , nice work on the “white” of the cap
