In October Young Miniatures brought us the US Soldier Ardennes, 1944. It was sculpted by the talented hands of Hiroyuki Ishii and also painted by Hiroyuki.

The kit comes in Youngs traditional sturdy cardboard box with the small parts in a sealed zip-lock bag. Thick foam sandwiches all the parts to prevent damage during shipping. The above kit is composed of 13 resin parts.

Above you see the four sides of the chest portion of the bust. The attention to detail with the buttons, snaps and pouches really gives this bust depth and detail.

Above is the separate cast hand with attention to detail given the fingers and especially the cloth mitten with all the finger of the mitten removed. The weave of the fabric can clearly be seen. Also you can see the detail of the fingernails.

Conclusion:
An exceptional kit loaded with detail. Dry fit was good in all fits I did. Mold blocks easily removed and only one seam line on the back of the neck. Detail in this bust is awesome and is quite up to the standards of Young Miniatures. Highly recommended.

Yup, a real thing of beauty here. Guy your review is both thorough and precise. Thanks for the great up-close look. Mine should be here next week, and my brushes can hardly contain themselves!
