US Soldier - Modern
1/35th scale white metal
Sculpted by Ho Seo
10 parts

This is another figure sculpted by the magical hands of Ho Seo and has to be one of the finest detailed figures of this era I have seen on the market.

The figure is comprised of 10 parts including canteen and amo pouches and comes sandwiched between foam for protection during shipping.

The detail Ho Seo has sculpted into the uniform is amazing as to its crispness and a credit to Infinity for the excellent casting they have done. Minimal seam lines can be easily scraped or filed away.

It took several photos to give you an idea of the facial detail Ho Seo has sculpted.

Overall this is an excellent figure with some of the finest quality seen in white metal figures of this size.

Infinity Shape is looking for good ideas for figures in the future. If you have any good ideas let them know.

Thanks for the review Guy. Modern figures are not my bag, but that has to be one of the best if not the best out there. The sculpting is exceptional.~Gary

I have to agree with Gary, that is one of the best modern US figures I've seen to date!
But unlike Gary ;) I do like modern subjects and been thinking of doing a US fig and I think this is the one I will put on my want list :)
Man since getting back into the hobby my list has grown considerably

Excellent stuff. Really like the pose and the detail. Surprised he doesn't have an IBA vest. Seems like most pics I see from OIF and beyond have some sort of protective armor.

That makes two of us. I simply cannot imagine a single front-line trooper, be it US Army, Air Force (yes, believe it or not but they are on the front lines as well), or Marines who would ever dream of entering a hot zone without their body armor. Despite it's beautiful sculpting and attention to detail, I won't be buying this piece simply because of this blaring inaccuracy in uniformology. Quite frankly, it would be way too much work to buy this piece and convert it to be truly accurate.

Now as far as their WWII Rangers in the Pacific, that's another story :) :) :)
