Vallejo German Grey

Hi, I'm working on a 120mm German WWII officer from Verlinden at the moment. I usually paint in 920 German Uniform but I fancy a change this time around and I was thinking of painting a pale grey early war uniform on 992 Neutral grey. What do you think? Is this colour realistic?

I have both of those tones at home. Having seen a fair few Heer uniforms, I would recommend adding a touch of 920 to the 992 to reduce the stark greyness. Even the very faded uniforms I have seen had a slight hint of green to my eyes.
