I didn't know exactly where to put this question, but seeing as I'm looking for paint brushes, the paint threads seemed as good a place as any.

I picked up a couple of Vallejo Toray paint brushes (series P54?) while in Girona this summer, and have been very happy with their performance. They were very reasonably priced and were better than the Kolinsky sable brushes I had been using. I had one 10/0 (which unfortunately snapped on me :() and the other was 5/0 size. Does anyone have a reliable supplier of these synthetic Vallejo brushes? Preferably a North American vendor, but beggars can't be choosers can they. Thanks guys, I look forward to hearing from you.

Maybe try contacting Vallejo directly, asking them about stockists in the US or Canada, address is vallejo (at) acrylicosvallejo.com

What brushes were you using previously?

With the new brushes, any hooked tips?

Thanks Enion. I was using a small detail brush that said Kolinski Sable on it. It frayed pretty easily and I found the Toray brush just worked better and kept its point better. I managed to find the fellow I originally bought the brushes from, and ordered a dozen, so I should be good for a while.
Geaugan, perhaps "chongzivalve" saw I was from Alberta and just assumed I needed some oil field equipment. Otherwise, using a duplex gate valve on a 54mm figure just seems like over kill to me. ;)
