Verlinden 200mm Imp Guard Bust Ponytail?

Hi Folks,

I am finishing the Verlinden 200mm Imperial Guard bust. There is a small piece of resin that I believe is a ponytail. There is hair in a ponytail and a band holding the hair.

Does anyone know what color the band should be? I can’t find any reference for this.

It´s black silk-or mohairband with a little brass grenade on it.

There does seem to be a brass grenade on it, but it’s very small.

Further to my previous post and Tom's subsequent clarification ....
This is an extract from André Jouineau's "The French Imperial Guard" (Histoire & Collections):-



Click on the image to get a larger view.

The grenade is visible on all the bands tying the hair.
The book shows quite a number of rear views for different orders of dress. All show the grenade.
