Viking Axeman

Hi All,

I have recently finished DG Artworks Viking Axeman. I decided not to have the viking leaping off the top of the ships figurehead as it looked unrealistic. So i decided to have him leaping of a hill after just arriving in his ship to raid. Painted in acrylics.

I like it. Can you tell me how you did the grass?

I built up the ground/hill with p38 body filler. Painted it in burnt umber. Then i used adheasive grass tufts and just stuck them on. I added a couple of different colour tufts to break up the colour a bit. That's about it.
