The day after Tommi Worton posted his review of The Viking bust by Yury Serebrykov my review sample came in the mail from Russia. Since Tommi just posted an excellent review Yury and I decided to wait several months before I posted this review. Cast in a light gray resin this bust has 3 optional head / hat choices that can be used for each painter's individual bust.

Now packaged in a sturdy white cardboard box with all the parts sealed inside clear zip-lok bags the bust also has a slip cover showing the assembled bust with the helmet and face mask. The bottom photo above shows the 7 resin parts that the kit consists of.

The above photos show the Viking helmet on the Viking's head. There is another separate cast nose guard that attaches to the front bottom of the helmet.

Above are the separate cast hair braids as well as the roach pin for fastening the cloak.

The above photos show the underneath of the bust as well as each optional hat. Each hat has a locater slot for correct positioning of the hat on the head.

Conclusion:

An excellent sculpted bust by Yury Serebrykov. Casting is one of the best I have ever seen. Highly recommended plus.
