Hello everyone! Another new work - Private 2th Dragoon Rgt. of the French Army, holding aloft a captured Prussian flag, 1806. Producer by Andrea Miniatures, scale 90mm. Painting: acrylic, oils.

Great paintwork. But I have to admit that I don't like the dapple grey. The spots are to regular and seems like paintdots.
Sorry that I made that comment.....but that's what I see.
The Dragoon and flag are amazingly painted.

Good work Stanislav.
Very well painted.........including the horse. Dapple greys do not come in a regular pattern, that's what makes them so interesting to paint.
Cheers,
Keith

Really nice paint work, Stanislav. I like this a lot, especially the way you handle the skin of this horse and the details on the flag.

Thanks to all, glad to you liked it!
Very nice work! lovely flag, and colours! .. Although, I always thought that the dappled grey horses were for the 'Buglers', rather than the 'Troopers'. However I could be very wrong. Again lovely work.

Regards,

Mark

Yes, you're right! I learned this too late, when the horse was already painted)
