Hello!

Let me introduce my new work a volunteer fireman from 1898. A Volunteer Fireman's Association of a small Hungarian village ask me to sculpt a figure, what they could give as present to the sponsors - after moulding, and painting.
I really enjoyed the research about firemans. Fortunatly I have found the regulation from 1898 and what can I say, the book is better as an Osprey book :) There are useful pictures about all parts.

Comments are wellcome!

On this photo you can see a fireman from the 1920s years. The uniform is a little bit different.

Balázs,
Really nice figure, the subject is unnusual and very appealing too. It will be nice to see one painted, please.

Thank you Ray, Gary and Roger! :)

Sometimes is good make something diferent as the soldiers. I'm afraid my painting skills aren't as good as the sculptor skills, but I will try to make te best.

By the way I will produce this figure as limited edition. (release scheduled late June)

Cheers,
Balázs

Balazs, great sculpting, particularly like the helmet, not as easy IMHO to replicate.
Thanks for showing.

Cheers Ken
