I know I said it was back to late Victorian period but the wife got me this figure some 3 years ago, so I thought it was time to get some paint on it.
Still some way to go but enjoying this so far. I have found a useful site that sell original items with some good detailed photos.
www.lux-military-antiques.com/en/home.htm.
Very useful.
I have painted the face in oils but the rest in acrylic's

Photos are taken for speed with my phone, I will upload better photos soon.

Your on a roll with the WW2 stuff Bob. Lovely start and liking the uniform colours.

Turning out pretty nice there Bob(y)!

I did this dude a few years back. Its a well done sculpt and was a blast to paint up!

Joe

Nice painting and weathering so far Bob.

Cheers,
Andrew

Thank you all and yes on a roll with the WWII stuff. I promise to get back to the late Victorian with the next figure. Its the troop54 officer of 66th foot 1880.

I am in the process of painting the rifle and the entrenching tool at this time and should be completed soon.
I have noticed some parts on him that need a little touch up with a brush. Hope you like the better photos.
