Here is our fourth MFCA preview, the grand finale: a WWI German Sniper/Stormtrooper sculpted by Kaz Tomori. This is a digital sculpt by Kaz using Z-Brush printed in 120mm.

The kit contains parts from which the modeler can choose to build one of eight variations.

First, we include two different right arms. One arm holds a rifle outfitted with a scope to build the Sniper version. The second/alternate arm holds the MP-18 machine gun to build the Stormtrooper version. Two torsos are also included – one with ammo pouches for the Sniper, and one without for the Stormtrooper.

Once the choice is made between Sniper or Stormtrooper, then the modeler chooses between two heads – one with a gasmask and one without. The final choice is a small detail of a left hand with or without a grenade. So, in total, there are EIGHT different possible combinations.

Of course, the dog with gas mask is included as well as the resin base.

An awesome piece from Kaz, I'm all over this one but I can't see it on your web site yet?

I'm leaning towards the gas-masked Stormtrooper version, but all the options work. And the dystopian dog is a cool bonus!

Like the figure a lot but the dog is wonderful. Will the dog also be provided with alternative heads?

Cheers

Very nice figure Kaz and really like the look of the dog as well, might do a review on this one :)

Thanks a lot everyone for your comments! I'm glad Paul made it into a product with great casting quality.
It's a great honor I could contributed to ModelCellar WW1 line.

And I´ll probably sculpt a moustache on his face. He looks too WWII for my taste.
fmargem, thanks a lot for your comment, and yes you can add mustache on his face!
I wanted to break the typical image of WW1 figures and soldiers, not all of them got mustache so I didn't add one.
But its also good I could left some space where modelers can do something on.
As Paul said, you can choose options so it means it also will leave some extra parts once your option choices are made, so you can do something with them, you can do minor convertions / sculpt your own figure with extra head, torso, hand, etc. :)

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all the compliments and the very positive reaction. Kaz did a fantastic job on this one - it was a big hit at MFCA =). The dust is beginning to settle after the show. I will try to get this one in full production and on the website as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone for your support.

regards,
Paul
