Wake Island (The Alamo of the Pacific)

I need your help. I am planning to do a diorama about the 1st Marine Defense Battalion on Wake Island. I.m pretty sure they wore a khaki uniform but I'm certain. Can anyone help me?

I don't know about there uniforms but do I know they did not like the name "The Alamo of the Pacific" they knew what happened at the Alamo.
