Hello Folks

The French have finally decided to attend the party at Hougoumont but without an official invitation which will require the 'Door Staff' to deal with them accordingly!

Available soon is Part 4 of the Hougoumont diorama sculpted for me by Carl Reid consisting of 4 x French soldiers of the 1st Light Infantry Regiment. The set includes Lt. Legros - 'The Enforcer' who used a pioneers axe to smash his way into the courtyard before coming to a sticky end along with 30 or so of his gallant soldiers.

These kits are not available on any website and if anyone is interested in pre - ordering them please contact me direct on [email protected]

The price for the 4 x resin kits is £130.00 which includes standard international shipping. Insured postage is available for an additional £5.00

I will be casting pre -orders this week for those already on my customer list. Anyone wishing their details to be added to this list please email me. Once pre - orders are complete I will post further pics and details on PF.

Cheers
Gordon

Whoooaaa!

Here are a few pictures of the scene, including the original site that still exists today and a monument to the defenders of the Hougoumont, which is located in the neighboring village of Braine-L'Alleud ...:

If you walk around there today in the summer, as I did a few years ago, you see around a beautiful peaceful and sun-caked landscape with old buildings - and the only thing that is disturbing is the noise of the nearby route nationale from Brussels to Paris.

It is hard to imagine what bloody slaughter happened there 202 years ago ...

Very thoughtful greetings

Brilliant release Gordon. And for the next project a whole cuirassier regiment formed up for a charge.... ;-)

Cheers
