Waterloo 1815, "La garde meurt et ne se rend pas !"

Hi all,

I have finally finshed my Vignette featuring two brilliant 75mm figures from Alexandros Models depicting the French Imperial Guard's last stand at Waterloo 1815.

A lot of great detail on both figures. The flag alone took me nearly three days but it turned out fine I think. The weathering took me another day but it was very hard to "dirty" figures after finishing them so nicely

I used "AK Real Mud" effect and various shades of Acrylic colours on the base and the figures to make it look more like they have been in real action on the Waterloo Battlefield on that fateful but very wet day in June 1815. I also used five different sizes of tufts, static grass, posidonia seagrass and others to give it more of a "wild field" look.
