Tommys War
A Fixture
I have had to have a change of provider for my web store at www.tommyswar.co.uk
Unfortunately, my old provider has gone out of business. I was in the process of rebuilding the website to combine both the .com and .co.uk sites (and having 1 site with both information and web store) and then bringing in the blog at www.tommysdouglas.com - so that everything was in one website.
However, I've had to move quickly due to circumstances beyond my control, so am porting over all the old web store from .co.uk to a new web store.
As I'm having to do this very fast (the existing site is switched off tomorrow) there may be disruption while I get the alternative up and running.
However, this will not affect anything as all orders are up to date, and my email address at [email protected] is not affected.
I'm afraid I haven't been able to transfer any customer information, so my customers will need to re-register for the new site.
My apologies for any inconvenience in the meantime, but there is nothing to be concerned about and service will resume by the weekend. In the long run the new website will be a fantastic resource that will combine information, online shopping and step-by-step guides to building and painting - I'm planning on a very large site with a lot of information, news and background - its just a pain that my hand is being forced a little.
If I may ask a favour, if any PF member does see a note on the web wondering what is happening could I ask you point them back here (you know how rumours spread online!).
Many thanks
Darren
